Gaffa, as I mentioned a couple of posts ago, AOL looks great in a portfolio. Its a household name, a leader, makes profits ... and the stock price keeps increasing. The big players seem to buy it on weakness and the smaller investor joins in the upward momentum. Yahoo is making a lot of moves recently, both as the leading search engine, and in its attempts to broaden its scope. The opinion that I have heard expressed is that Yahoo, and one other search engine (Excite is the favourite at the moment) are 'assured' of success, and given the enthusiasm for this segment of technology, its probably natural enough that Yahoo should attract the dollars imho. No point in trying to figure out anything too deep ... its probably not there !!
Good luck !!
