It's a convenience really,,, Imagine how many surly self important , pension endowed civil servants we'll need to hire in lieu ? and pay overtime for weekends LOL... As to the taxes well that is another issue.. It's a can of worms because like the French issue it is something that goes back to the beginning of the country.. and beyond.. I'd worry more about having to convert to Islam than official bilingualism :O)

Frankly if you want to know what burns me... Why can my dentist sign my passport to verify my identity... what is sooooo special about dentists ? Are they special like the judge out in the Maritime that was just convicted of scamming the health system ?

I think people should be licensed to own dogs... Society has it a$$ backwards... but of course we know the licensing issue is really another tax scam by the government :O)

Tax deductible doggie daycare sounds good to me :O)
