George - I have the 6708 and they are easy to set up. I must agree, the monitors are less then desirable. I bought the Sony 17" and very pleased with it. As far as the video memory, go to the home page and under System Information, you can check to see if it's expandaple to 4 megs. If you are planning to use your computer for heavy game use it might be a plus. I have 1 meg and have no problem, but I am not a big game user. The Zip drive is a smart choice. Wish they had it available when I bought mine. I would of preferred a built in, so I could save space on my desk. Good luck. compaq.com
