I think this new "open carry" law may bring about a few more gun deaths in Texas, but like I say, it will be an interesting test case. Maybe they'll have less gun deaths. If open carry doesn't accomplish anything then WHY make it legal? One thing it's going to accomplish is making people NERVOUS and less likely to go any place where they think a lot of people may be carrying guns. I don't think that's going to be good for business and that's why we are already seeing so many businesses in Texas already putting up signs saying, "No Guns on these Premises".
