Sorry but you have it wrong. When buying outside the inside market ie lower than the best ask your limit order is displayed on the bid side. I do this every day. Today I purchased 1000 shares of Valence at 6 15/16 when the the best ask was 7 1/16. My order was displayed on the bid side until someone took me out. Robert
