Firstly, the author criticizes Sanders for supporting the Sandinistas, but fails to realize that Hillary Clinton worked on behalf of CISPES (Committee in Solidarity with the People in El Salvador) during the Reagan years and helped raise lots of money for the successful Revolutionary movement there against the US and US Puppet Duarte.

I was a strong supporter of the revolutionary movement in El Salvador and so was Hillary Clinton, who was a key fundraiser. So, the author whose article you posted knows chit.

The more interesting question is Hillary's support of the Sandinistas. Maybe she went through a midlife foreign policy crisis. We know Hillary was a self-proclaimed "Goldwater girl" when she was younger and is now a Super Hawk. Where this support for the Sandinistas came from back then only G-d knows.

Secondly, the author fails to understand where this support for Bernie Sanders is coming from and above all, what it signifies. The fact is the Left in the US has had enough of the Fascist BS coming from the mainstream Democratic Party.

Hillary Clinton is going to lose to Donald Trump because she doesn't have enough support coming from her Democratic base. Every single poll out there has Sanders beating Trump easily. Yet at the moment, she is running in a dead heat with Trump.

If the Left wants to elect their candidate in 2020, it would be wise for them to not vote for Hillary Clinton in November.
