Shields is an opportunist latching on to the latest Demolib talking point memo.

It's really as simple as that.

Interesting how you've bought the line that production isn't ramped up to meet demand or need. I really don't know all the facts regarding exact numbers of armored platted vehicles, nor what we need, and I doubt in the currect climate we can find a reasonably clear answer.

That's the problem with overly partisan pundits like Shields. He is not writing or investigating to dig out the facts, but just writing talking points in order to throw political mud around.
