I'm not sure how you got involved in this and I don't plan to waste much room here, but your paraphrase missed a key word.....like "probably". If you don't think he is, fine. It's really not that important. Someone asked who he is. I answered them. You know of someone more influential, great. That's your opinion and you're welcome to it. Meanwhile I stand by what I said...except it's Forbe's ASAP, not Fortune, as someone was kind enough to point out.

Here is what I wrote:
George Gilder is probably the most influential visonary of the internet. He has the ear of folks from Capitol Hill to Wall Street to Silicon Valley. I believe he has a column in Fortune's ASAP on a frequent basis.
