Probably not significantly.

I wouldn't take my Family out if a lot of people were openly carrying guns.

Other people would. Other people did in places and times when open carry was more common. There are plenty of guns around now, open carry just seems weird because people tend to go with, maybe more like overwhelmingly go with, concealed carry.

Also open carry being legal doesn't strongly suggest that it will become anywhere close to ubiquitous.

It won't be too long before somebody starts shooting for whatever reason and 20 other guys want to play hero and they start shooting too.

1 - The guns are already out there. Is it going to be so much more dangerous because you can see some of them?

2 - I disagree with your implication that armed civilians responding to armed attacks increases the level of danger for those around them.

3 - 20 is rather unlikely.
