WE BEAT BARRONS TO THE PARTY... ie: the "CALL" that Crude must fall ~ ...once again; concerning SI's oilpatch threads - it's not the quantity of posts, it's the quality. And PS: ... please excuse the hell out of us for taking a brief respite from 24x7 Oil & Gas; to catch a 90%+ HUI/Gold stock move (VBG)~ A slowing Global economy & rising supplies finally got someone's attention... whodathunkit ? The keyword there being "global" - as in the last time (97-98 oil cycle) it only took a slowing Asian economy to crash the oilpatch cycle. Now we have virtually the entire global community participating & look how long it took get the first "headline" call here in Barrons; of crude Oil's inevitable fall. A slowing global economy & rising supplies = a coming collapse in prices; this wasn't even a tough call. I'm amazed it took so long quite frankly. It's make, or break time for the cycle here. BOTH the US economy AND supplies must quickly reverse their trend. Untill then - there is NOT a positive risk vs reward ratio in staying long the 'Patch. You might be able to run (temporarially, to refiners, late cycle plays etc)but, you can not hide... So it is written; so it shall be done ~ And as "someone" on this thread said a while back: THE NEXT BIG & EASY MONEY PLAY IN THE PATCH - WILL BE NET SHORT... bank on it.
