Elmo. It's "not an exlclusive agreement", and yes IBM and "exclusive" would IMO move the stock. That's why I personally am watching very closely, and want to wait until AFTER Brainshare to ummmm... see what the "climate" is like. IMO if we had a STRONG CEO in place now (read: awhile ago), with a firm DIRECTION, and him or her giving marching orders to the troops to FIGHT tooth and nail their nemisis, well, the Computer Reseller News article you point out MAY have been worded a little differently. That is, without HP's VERY OBVIOUS HEDGE of "but, not exlcusive...." HP don't wanna p*ss anybody off, you know what I mean? Regards, Joe...
