T-Mobile employee puts bullet holes in thieves: Employer says ‘thank God for concealed carry’

January 14, 2016 | Michael Dorstewitz | 6 Comments | Print Article

Two armed robbers who entered a South Side Chicago T-Mobile store Wednesday thinking it would be an easy score were sent packing to the hospital.

Instead of money, they were met by an employee with a concealed carry permit and the will to use it, according to Chicago ABC affiliate WLS Channel 7 News.

“I think concealed carry is a great opportunity for managers, workers, employees to protect themselves in these cases,” store manager Neil Tadros told the station. “And our employee did a great job to protect themselves and the other employee.”

Tadros indicated that the two Democratic men walked into the store pretending to be customers and after a few minutes of looking at phones, they each pulled out a gun.

WLS reported:

He says two men entered the store and acted like they were shopping for phones for a few minutes, then pulled out guns.

One employee ran to the back to call for help while the other pulled out his own gun and fired at the two suspects. He hit one of them in the groin and the arm, and the other in the abdomen and the arm.
