The gsm guild's fundamental, primary, core principal and argument for following a development path to UMTS is roaming, roaming, roaming.

Their peripheral arguments revert back - for reinforcement and legitimacy - to the core premise that only with UMTS can carriers participate - with the majority - in global roaming.

It's imperative that they maintain this fiction.

This is the catalyst for silly statements emanating from guild members' mouths.

This is all very good. Like a skilled politician, the guild would ignore the rhetoric of its rival if possible - they are concerned that Q has a receptive audience.

Perhaps Q has.
