My guess is that Intel will have no better and probably worse sales and earnings figures to report. That could take down some of the semi stocks in sympathy. I don't think IDTI would be hit very much but that depends on just how bad INtel's earnings are and how much emphasis they put on the state of PC sales. If they say that they will try to protect market share at any cost, then that will be perceived as negative for the alternate suppliers. If, on the other hand, they stress higher end markets and new product developments, then that could be perceived as their concession of a major part of the market. Maybe I am reading too much into the Intel earnings and conference call as much of the results and outlook may be factored into the market already.

Intel's woes may weigh down the sector and keep any summer rally in semis from happening.
