JDN, I have not given up on religion, but do not like any denomination because of their divergence from strictly preaching the teachings of Jesus. I know that stealing from the offering plates is not of God's doing, but the leaders of that particular flock is, quite often, involved in it. I have had a lot of friends, and family members, that are Catholic, but it is not for me. Lay Catholics are just fine with me, but I have issues with the hierarchy of that denomination in the Vatican. One of those issues is personal, but will not go into what they did to my family.
