GW and JM: The special on iceberg lettuce continue at .39 a head this week at Market Basket. My point was that the price of oil had not trickled through to the price of CA vegetables. As far as medical expenses are concerned we are not talking aspirin here we are talking very sophisticated proprietary medicine that keeps people living to a much greater age. In time because of the efficacy of these "expensive medicines" AARP will bring the Pfizers of the world to their knees and fewer wonder drugs will be developed and the grey lobby will dwindle. Now who do you think is stirring up this discontent concerning the price of medicines- the demographically aware politicians of FL. The bond market is beginning to discover that there is no inflation. None going on here. No none at all. JFD
