Steve,
Ding dong Dell
Sales gone to Hell.

There is a lot to be said for blind faith and trust.....in a CEO?(M Dell)
He has left Dell exposed if Intel does not perform wonders with this new stepping. If Athlon gets fully booked and Intel fails to perform on April 7 he will lack parts at the high end.
I expect he was given a private dog and pony show by Intel with the new stepping to allay his fears....should AMD be worried about this? Well, I expect they have their new stepping coming along as well as their on chip cache at full speed.
I wonder why they cannot make memory at full speed if they can make CPUs....or is it a question of making dense enough to take the minimum area for the size. Probably lots of geography involved in redoing the CPU to have the memory area within it's area and not just a postage stamp stuck on one edge?
Well, out I go to a Chinese New Year dinner. Year of the Dragon, well it is certainly AMD's year.....the year of the Dragon.
Intel has this year too...the year of the draggin....their ass of course.

Bill
