c'mon tc, read what i wrote again... "just copy and paste the number portion of the post from the location bar". it's an 8 digit number, one of some 13+ million on si to date, not to be confused with reply #'s on individual threads. perhaps if i had said 'url' instead of location bar, there would not have been any confusion. :) mark
