Kayaker,

re: SI problems - Update and Comments - Help others while helping yourself

I (and several others) have been working since early last evening to help SI identify some of the new problems that they have created for themselves.

Below is a message I just posted to a dedicated individual that has worked with us through every stage of SI's migration.

If you would like to help identify problems we are currently experiencing with fonts please post to hard working Scott Lux by PM (and include OS and Browser versions):

If you would like to express your feelings (positive or negative) to management about the performance of SI please PM John Busby, a real good guy:

It is highly unfortunate that Mike Coddington , does not allow PM's and does not post:

Member 7744575

Let me assure you, we will be corresponding with Mike shortly.

For those that want to get involved with working through our problems in a positive fashion, these threads are available:

- "Silicon Investor ThinkTank"

Subject 31837

- "Welcome to Silicon Investor!"

Subject 16294

My post on current events below:

>> CatLady,

<< I've got the font problem with IE5.0 and Win2000. Can't you just put it back the way it was yesterday afternoon, please? >>

Thank you.

This would indicate to me that at least within the MSFT world, we are less browser and OS specific, than upgrades and options specific.

I have requested what you requested here, there, and everywhere.

I have taken inputs from a LOT of affected users today.

My last post on this subject (to John Busby):

Also did you see this one (re: BroweseMaster from Craig):

Message 15124461

"Hints of legal action is vague ... but if this occurred ... Highly objectionable to me ... but I have not cooled down enough to "diplomatically" comment to TPTB.

Do you know if we ever forwarded the petition?

I think it is time to escalate to the (silent) Mike Coddington and beyond.

Your comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again. <<

Thanks all that want to get involved.
