Mike, ALL PC'S ARE NOT THE SAME. PLUS, CONSUMERS AND BUSINESSES WANT MORE THAN SPECS ON A PIECE OF PAPER. THEY WANT AND DEMAND QUALITY, PERFORMANCE, SUPPORT, SERVICE, BRAND AWARENESS, CONFIDENCE, ETC.

There is no way you could throw a PC together and get it in CompUsa and start selling. No way. Hitachi, is a classic example, they have spent millions of dollars buying into the U.S. market, and they are only 12th or 13th in the market. Will they get better, sure. But the cash poor will lose, not the CPQ's.

How many Packard Bell owners do you know would buy another Packard Bell? My survey told me only about 30%!!!!(500 population size)

Latin America for a bear argument?? LF
