I'm not sure what's moving it today. Overall, it is an interesting, complicated story. Major recent drivers are: increased awareness of its incubator-strategy (one of its start-ups counts Juniper and Kleiner Perkins as equity investors); increased peer valuation of optical companies; good reviews for its subscriber management product (as far as I know they haven't announced any actual wins yet; I wouldn't be selling any RBAK yet :)).

I've been long since last fall, w/an average price in the mid-20s. I have to confess I'm a little nervous about it at these levels, not least because it was a great short for me back in 98, when it was primarily known for its LAN switches and its miserable inventory management. To their credit, management seems to have learned from past mistakes.
