Marc,

You are wrong again. Japanese will buy 8.5 million units in '98 as
opposed to '97's 7.93 million units, increased by 7.3%. Apple's
roughly 5.4% of overall pc market in Japan, most in high-end units.
It estimates about 459,000 units to be sold in '98, which is
equivalent to 114,750 units per quarter. If the average price of
each unit is near $2400, then it will generate about 275.4m as
quarterly revenue. Japanese market is about 15% of all Mac market in
last quarter, hence, we have about 1.86b in total revenue. Well, we
conservatively estimate of Q2 is near 1.6b.

Don't forget the currency exchange in Q2 has been benefitial to U.S.
companies.
