I was getting that many, even more because my parents mail comes to my house, and I put us all on that do-not-solicit list and it actually cut down the offers by over 95%. I suggest everybody do it -- the instructions are on every solicitation.

Now the cards that I do have send me 'checks' to access my credit. Citibank sometimes sends me three sets of checks in a single week. The last one said (I'm paraphrasing): "Please, for God's sake, buy something big with one of these checks! We're dyin' here! And Pah-LEEZE stop paying off your balance each month! And do not pay any attention to the fine print behind that curtain..."
