Considering that we have cleared and released a lot of detained people, I think charges that we callously detain and hold people known to be innocent are baseless. We have a lot of idealogical enemies in the world. Those enemies say all kinds of terrible things about America. I don't know why people are unskeptical about swallowing such charges - for example, your "the fascistic tactics of the Americans", "almost everyone hates us", we torture and disappear and kill people in detention quite frequently" comments.
