Nonetheless, I do think that cars are one product incredibly well suited for e-commerce. You go to your local dealership, take all the test drives you want, and then go on the web and order the car. You should be ordering the car directly from, say, toyota.com, and not an auto broker gone online like greenlight, but still ... it's the future. Plus, the overhead and inventory savings are stunning. And shipping ... the car transport companies are always making the rounds; no reason they can't just stop in front of your house and drop off your new car.
