Pretty sad Novell not mentioned in story about network software standards You actually hit upon something. When Novell slumps down into the single digits the street nods "this company is a loser". Not worth a mention. An ignore. They have written this company off just as they wrote off Borland many years ago. Sink past a certain point and you hardly exist anymore in the minds of the "what's newsworthy". Sink past a certain point and you could turn base metal into gold and it wouldn't get a mention i nthe press. Novell won't get any mindshare back until they get a new CEO. Got that message out there in UTah. That's why you need a new CEO. It so people know who you are. Its not to "figure out the company and how it works" but to provide the direction for the company and make the employees figure out how to make things work.
