The birth certificate thing is a stupid irrelevant non-issue interesting only to those who would rather chase red herrings than deal with the real election in front of them. We know that the middle of the electorate not only doesn't buy all this crap, they are actively turning against McCain the more he pushes it. That speaks for itself.
