<3.) Comparing the chipsets from Mitsubishi and S3 is easy. S3 sells tens of millions of graphics chips a year. Mitsubishi doesn't. There is no comparison between the two products. Mitsubushi has a spec shec and some prototypes. S3 dominates an industry.> Hmmm.. that's weird. I have a Diamond FireGL with the E&S, Mitsubishi chip in my machine right now. Sure doesn't feel like just a spec sheet or prototype. Beats the pants off of any graphics board I've had before. But you're right, they don't compete. There's no comparison in price or performance.
