I agree that MRVC has potential for the mid 20's. One must realize that Intel's move was carefully calculated to make the deal once the stock fell below 20 so that way they could aquire a significant # of shares below their true worth. I wouldn't be at all surprised if MRVC wasn't prodded into the deal w/the Brits and the Israelies to aquire their technology for 2 reasons. First, it would naturally tend to drive the stock price down to do such a thing and therefore bring it to within the target range that Intel would hope for in order to make the $20 deal look good, and secondly it could be conceived that MRVC was simply a straw buyer for this technology in the first place because if Intel were to buy direct, it might mean a significantly higher price tag! If the latter is true and Intel is interested in Fiber Optic technology, I wouldn't be surprised if Intel doesn't have plans in the works to aquire MRVC in the future. If this is the case, expect to see manipulations that would drive the stock value of MRVC way down so it can be had for a bargain basement price.
Just a few crazy ideas of mine. Comments anyone?
