Weird thing to tell someone who's been in the law biz for more than 20 years.

I would say that you live in an illusion of uncertainty. Things mystify you because you don't comprehend them.

Why don't you comprehend them? I assume it's because you're unwilling to make the effort.

Or maybe it's because you refuse to follow the reasoning process it would take to get you to comprehension. You have to accept that your own opinions about how things SHOULD go are irrelevant. Like it or don't, it goes as it goes.

Being a lawyer isn't much different from being a plumber or an electrician or an auto mechanic. It goes as it goes.

Anyway, it's not my job to tell you what's going to happen in 50 years if the law is changed by people who are not born yet. My job is to tell you whether what you want to do today is going to work for you. And I am very good at that.
