Mary C, It is obvious that you now little, or nothing, about alcoholism. The vast majority of alcoholics have been able to achieve, and maintain, sobriety without the services of AA, or any psychiatric, or medical, treatment, and it will do you no good to try and differ with me on this, because I am one of that majority. All and alcoholic has to do, is have the courage to look his nemesis in the eye, realize what such an addiction can do to harm ones health, and the injury being done to his loved ones. GW Bush did just that, and your attempt to demean him, is clear evidence of your baseless hatred toward him.

You should respect his strength in being able to accomplish such a difficult task, instead of sniping at him behind his back.

AA is that is needed only by those that need a crutch to hold them up, and do what is necessary to kick the bottle. I applaud them for the aid they give those that are weak enough to need such services, but those that do it on their own, get just a sober as any that ever came out of AA.

Only a socialistic liberal thinks that it takes a village to raise a child.

I presume you see the analogy there.
