<1) When a MM's says "It Wouldn't be in our Best Interest" to fill a large buy order - Is he really saying "We are Naked Shorting this stock - and that is illegal - Therefore we cannot fill that order"?. Usually they say, there are orders ahead of yours. I have never heard of a MM saying it this way.> Remember these guys are trading for themselves as well! They're probably buying the hell out of the stock so they can make you an offer, and at the moment they have none to show you. That's my guess, or as you said, they're already short. Can't comment on your other points... I really have no idea, although I don't think anyone would be too surprised to see it test $4, it traded $5 friday didn't it? DAK
