Are the hits on Google articles about Helms articles in the same sense the original piece was talking about? I am not sure what your point is here--the two Google hits I read after reading your post were full of the most AMAZING dirty tricks the CIA perpetrated all over the world--but if you want people at Feelies to find out about even more horrendous CIA stuff, thanks for pointing them out here.

I would add that seizing on one tiny thing about a huge bunch of information is not really the most effective argument for refuting it. And also that search engines have become increasingly efficient at bringing data up, so that when that article was written it could have been true.
