Every little bit helps.

In the best case scenarios (combined with the most favorable weighing of how you measure the different impacts), there might be a small chance of a tiny net positive, but its not really particularly likely.

Except there its more likely to be a net negative rather then a net positive. Some people get raises, others lose their job or don't get hired. To the extent that the extra cost can be passed off to consumers you get less immediate and direct harm on employment but you raise prices for people eating in to the gains of those who do get raises (and harming those who do not), and you can push down the quantity demanded which means less business and so has a negative effect on employment.

Yes but maybe not the way she thinks it is. The new game might be called unemployment. Or it might be called higher prices for customers to cover the 281 percent pay increase, combined with a no tipping policy to make up for the higher prices customers face.
