Rand had only an idea -- a good one (capitalism is splendid), but only one Ayn Rand had lots of good ideas, not just one. Capitalism is good, forced collectivism is evil. Individualism is good, forced egalitarianism is evil. Achievement is good, holding others back or riding on their coattails against their will is evil. Passion is good, pretending is evil. Freedom is good, taking away the freedom of others is evil. Taking care of yourself and those you love is good, forcing others to take care of you is evil.
