The same way effective parents teach their children about appropriate versus inappropriate behavior... by example, not by proclamation. I agree with Juanita that reasoned, calm responses are appropriate until a 'basher's' nature becomes clear. At that point, shunning is a most effective tool... as many (all?) close-knit communities throughout human history have discovered. And I personally feel that a major part of what we have going for us is that sense of community. Those new to the thread that stick around long enough to become effective co-investors will soon figure out whose posts are ignored and why. My Opinion Only ...mark
