I was there and it looked very promising. Neldon Johnson the inventor, did give a basic over view of the techlology. He lost a few minds in the process. Very technical stuff. Yes he couldn't go into much detail because of patent laws. He said if he disclosed certain information before the US patent is granted, they lose the forign patent. Thus the hush, hush on the patents. They are being very careful and giving as much info to the public as the can and are required. As far as the forign market is concerned, they have been talking to many many countries. Looks good there. So DWM looks like its going to go. The technology looks good for the modem market, but evvern if it doesn't do well there, it looks very promising in the cell-phone market, which is were I think DWM will make its strongest showing. IAUS, has more to offer than the DWM, the finger print machine, AFIM, looks very good, a little bulky, but they have projected the AFIM market in the billions. This is what I see happening. IAUS will make a big push with the AFIM system, this will bring millions, if not billions, to the company. Then about the same time they will push the DWM into the cell-phone market. I was a liitle disappointed with the modem information, but as I said I think DWM has a place in everyones fuure. AFIM and DWM have a very wide range of applications, if one application fails I think another will work. I fell good about what they have to offer. |
