Vinnie - I posted something about Kopin in post #31. I have held
this for a long time and they seem to have had problems with high
volume production but there are some indications that they have addressed this recently. I noticed Forte has a $3000 high end version
of its virtual reality headgear that is using the new Kopin single layer crystal for high resolution. The previous $1000 headgear was I think something like 480X288 and the new one is 640X480. Kopin is
also using the technology to make gallium arsenide chips which are being used for high bandwidth applications in the cellular and PCS industry. I think this may be where the bulk of their increased revenues are coming from because I think Forte is finding that it
needs to develop the headgear market before Kopin's improved visuals can generate much in the way of revenues. I would be interested in
what you know about it - it seems to have picked up recently - I gather on the basis of the improved revenues.
