I've had a samsung vibrand and the wife a HTC mytouch 4G for more than a year. Never had a problem with them. That's more than I can say for my iphone3GS which I had to replace 3 times. And by the sound of things your iphones are just as replacement crappy as mine were. Apple makes the crapiest hardware of anyone out there.
