I think Obama doesn't get the positive attention he craves any longer as president. He most likely looks forward to getting attention being a disruptive influence after he leaves office. That way he can just incite others, whine and bitch and doesn't have the responsibility to make things right. If it gets corrected, he claims victory, although he didn't fix it, he just whined about it. It is great being a liberal and whining about everything without the ability or interest to correct it. All the glory and none of the responsibility. That is why being president isn't very much fun for him.
