I am always amused at folks who thank God for sparing them in the latest tornado, or earthquake, or you fill in the blank disaster that HE sent their way, while never wondering why he killed their neighbor or his/her infant child, or destroyed their house...it takes a certain kind of uncritical thinking to believe the nonsense.
You'd rather argue that these people were spared due to dumb luck?
