my guess is that NBase LTD (the LTD is a clue) is an Israel-based subsidary - in fact I'm sure of it because it was purchased from a major Israeli electroincs concern - and with certain agreements the Israeli government waives income taxes for stipulated periods. Intel and other US companies have so qualified and have major presences in Israel for that and otehr reasons, one being the huge labor pool consisting of highly educated and highly skilled technical people. The former USSR suffered a huge brain drain when they finally permitted Jews to emigrate, thanks to pressure from a US law (Jackson-something) and US diplomatic efforts. And Isarel itself has some pre-eminent institutions equal to MIT and CalTech, among others. Dee Jay
