(personal) Pat, thanks for the answer. I was surprised to learn you have WSTL since I heard the leakage problem of CAP from you. But anyway, I find it strange that you don't have AWRE and ORCTF. These are my reasons: 1) ADI made the "STANDARD COMPLIANT" chipsets in 1995 with Aware, this is the world 1st and the standard is set by Amati. Did ADI steal Amati's patent? no report. Why is it taking so long for MOT/TI to catch up with ADI even with help from Amati? 2) ASND is a force and a rich force, you gave lots of thoughts to its conf. call so I think you agree. PAIR might be cheap but ASND chose Aware too. I don't believe ASND didn't talk with Amati since they're within walking distance; 3) ORCTF has all xDSL (very impressive list and I believe if it's in US it should have equal market cap. as Amati/Aware); 4) If DMT is indeed going to rule the world, there is plenty of money for each of them so why not diversify to reduce the risk? 5) Suprior technology doesn't gurantee suprior company, ask Microsoft and Apple.
I don't need to hype any of the 3 since if anyone succeeds, I've got the next MSFT. We see things differently but I'm glad we agreed to disagree. Thanks for the effort.
