REASON has a more "Reasoned" piece to go with my "rant" of yesterday.

Well, I agree the language is certainly cooler than your language of yesterday. No doubt about that. At least the Nazi charge is off the table.

But the argument strategy is a classic debate style. Find the most extreme statement of someone in a cause, then label everyone who cares about the issues with the statement. So this one takes Muir's statement, which actually might mean something different in context, but context never worries these kinds of defamatory articles, and cloaks the everyone who cares about environmental issues with the same cloth.

This writer then fails to address the health issues raised by the environmentalist movement. Wonder why?? It's easier to try to tar it with some religious brush, that's interesting in and of itself, than to address the health concerns.
