The LA Times had Arnold winning before the election., AT one time the recall was very close, so that poll would have been true. Half of Californians were very uneasy about that recallo. It was after all a GOp coup d'etat and California is a mainly Dem state. Arnold like Kerry is a strong finisher so he came on big the last few days. Up unjtil then his victory was not assured. Neither Grey nor Bustamante caught fire, so instead they faded out in the end.
