re: GATES My understanding is that Microsoft, to inteL's very great chagrin and consternation and in Microsoft's obvious interests, is one of AMD's best virtual allies. Actually, without Microsoft 64 bit operating system support, ie Cutler et al., AMD would probably be out in the cold. Regards, DARBES
