PCI: On the contrary, even before the acquisitions, Creaf had these PCI solutions: the EMU8008 soundchip and the AWE64D PCI soundcard. The AWE64D PCI performs at the Gold level and because the nature of PCI uses CPU power and system memory Creaf can sell it at a lower price (save on memory chips). Now with Ensoniq Creaf also has the AudioPCI soundcard which is strong in OEM and the OPTi Mach-One soundchip at the very low end. The new SoundBlaster Live! series will be PCI based as well. Zakrosian, to read up on ISA/PCI see PC Mag Jan 8th (I think) and article called Shifting Soundscapes - excellent survery of the whole PCI/ISA/USB/1394/DMA/IRQ/INTABCD etc (sure as hell enlightened me!). The article may be on the website pcmag.com
