I guess they said the same thing about telephones. The functionality of PC's is going to get further integrated into the net. And having local storage is not unavailable, just extra. In terms of bandwidth, I just got a cable modem, doing downloads at up to 300k/sec for $40 Canadian per month including unlimited time!
