For publication, I'd stick to version 1. Unless you're dealing with leftists, then go with the truth. :-)

So I take you won't be working for a while and will have lots of time for SI? :-)

Last July, my wife & I were on vacation in the Outer Banks.
We went to the beach for a swim. The weather had been stormy
& the waves had carved a ledge in the sand. It was about 18"
high. When I went to step down over the ledge, the sand
collapsed & I fell. My ankle turned sideways, then my leg
collapsed. When I landed, my foot was firmly planted in my
butt. That's when I heard a loud snap. That was the patellar
tendon in my knee. It was completely severed.

F**K! OUCH!!!!!!!!
D***N, I bet that hurt!

You need some sailing experience. You learn to treat Mother Nature with great respect when she's pissed. :-)

I referred your case to mph for a mere 10% finder's fee. Pretty reasonable, I thought. :-)

Oh. Forget the skiing, :-)
