I thought the whole movie was tongue-in-cheek. Owen Wilson and Cate Blanchett were the only actors playing it straight, I thought. I love Angelica Huston when she is playing a witch, but somehow cannot get beyond her being Jack Nicholson's long-suffering ex-girlfriend in general, and that for some reason is all I think about when I see her in most roles.
